I never really loved it, then worked on it some more to bring in the light it needed. Anyone else feeling the power of the sun these days? My 19 year old cat, Spike, passed away today. She My 19 year old cat, Spike, passed away today. She was as friendly and outspoken as a cat can be. We had plenty of cuddles and goodbyes these last few days. She will be missed and yet the bond that I have felt with her since the day I first petted her in my yard, I feel wholeheartedly will continue on. Depending on how you look at it, these buoys washed up in the tide could be colorful gifts from the sea or refuse. They remind me of the mice Spike would catch and leave at the doorstep. As if to say, here is your gift.
